INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for SP7, SP7 w/Curved End, #702 & 701:

BULB SLIDE REMOVAL for BULB (#1157)  REPLACEMENT:
“Lift” Bulb Slide so Holding Tabs at bottom of slide “clear” Lock Grooves … then Pull Down and Out. When replacing, be sure Slide is reinserted so Lock, Holding Tabs are “snapped back in” to the Lock Grooves.

HI & DRY® TERMINAL USE: On SP7, 702 & 701 Models, you can take advantage of the protection & convenience of making all connections under our Stainless Steel, Hi & Dry® Terminal Screws. Insert stripped Harness Wire, twisted together, in a Clockwise direction under the Terminal Screw. Tighten Screw carefully thereby trapping whiskers under the Washer portion of Screw … DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! Try to arrange the wires so they don’t “shadow” the Bulb or “Jam” the Slide upon reinsertion. Using this termination method will keep your wiring connections in the air trapping area thus eliminating any water from entering your termination points.

WIRE NUT USE: Depending on the Model, if your existing Harness wires are too short to reach the Hi & Dry Terminal area … you can hook-up extra wire Leads by using Wire Nuts … stripped 1/2” to expose “whiskers”; twist together so Wire Nut bites into all wires, orientate Wire Nut so trapped water drains.

BOLTING LIGHT BODY & GROUND WIRE TO TRAILER: All our Multi-Function Tail Light Assemblies fit the Standard 2” Bolt Pattern. Slide the heads of the provided Mounting Bolts into grooves on backside of Light Body. Position Light Body so that both Bolts protrude through mounting surface. Place Grounding Terminal of White Wire over one Mounting Bolt so that the Terminal’s Teeth “dig” through paint and into the Trailer Frame for a good Ground … Add Nuts to secure … AVOID OVER TIGHTENING!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for SPLL:

BULB SLIDE REMOVAL for BULB (#3157)  REPLACEMENT: With your hand palm up, place Index Finger under the Black Slide (marked “LIFT”) where White ground wire is coming out. Put Thumb on top of Clear Tab below Red Lens. Pinch Tabs towards each other and pull straight down. When reinserting, be sure Black Slide stays in Slide Trough and you hear bulb slide snap into Tail Light Housing.
